1 We have booked the Village Hall on Sundays from 5.30pm to 8.30pm for trial meetings to assess demand for a second night. This is intended for ADULTS ONLY at this stage. It will have to be self financing so there will be a small charge (Probably £3) for those wishing to join this session.

 

2 We are seeking Adult helpers to assist in the management of the early evening session on Thursdays. There is no need to engage in any other committee activities nor is it intended that the same person(s) would be on duty every week. The idea is to spread the responsibility so that no one person is too burdened. It would be necessary for any volunteers to be CRB checked but this is a fairly simple formality and does not involve any cost.

 

3 We have a significant budget for training 4 of our members to become table tennis coaches and we need to get on with this fairly quickly because it is Lottery Fund money which has to be paid back if it is not utilised by July next year. It is not necessary to be an expert player to undertake this training; actually the training will help to improve your own abilities which you can then pass on to others. We are therefore seeking volunteers to undertake this training.
